(aka Release the Kraken!)

Found the pendant while shopping at Walmart… fell in love with it instantly, and snatched up the matching bronze chain while I was there.

Features two different blends of Miyuki Delicas from eebeads (“sand” and “Caribbean”), natural conch shells, glass pearls, turquoise-colored jasper, leopard jasper, and antiqued brass-finish pewter floral beads.

Took about six hours to make, so probably not one I’ll ever sell… unless someone REALLY wants one at over $100 a set…

Made for a friend who is big on ocean and wildlife conservation. It’s a pretty standard macrame weave made with waxed cotton cord. It also features wooden and metal beads and a single shell which I personally collected from Orange Beach, Alabama.

Custom item; not for sale.

Spring StripesOne of my favorites!  Bright blue and green shell pieces coordinate beautifully with the foil-backed glass pendant.  They’ll seem to float against your skin or blouse thanks to doubled strands of transparent thread.
