My first attempt at metalsmithing! Cut by hand from 20-gauge copper and bronze sheets, the various pieces were then hand-forged, soldered and/or riveted together, and colored using various patinas.
Finished piece measures approximately 5.5″ x 3″ x .75″, and features a hand-made pinback for wear as a brooch.
Not for sale.

Christmas gift for my ten year-old niece. Although this piece is a one-of-a-kind, similar pieces could be made using the same techniques.
The necklace “chain” is made of 1/8″ ribbon, knotted to hold the ceramic and glass beads in place.
